Red Tiger Taekwon-Do

Taekwon-do is a Korean martial art which has been developed through centuries of Eastern civilization. Today, Taekwon-do has evolved into not only the most effective method of weaponless self-defense, but an attractive method of maintaining physical fitness as well.

Many incorrectly believe that Taekwon-do merely entails breaking boards and bricks, but there is much more. Taekwon-do also helps build confidence, self-esteem, discipline, and character. Parents report that their children’s schoolwork often increases as their confidence rises.

Taekwon-do is also a great form of exercise which improves flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. The board-breaking demonstrations merely show how power and speed are made possible by training in Taekwon-do.
